Where will the Briefing and Assessment Events be held?

If you’re applying for a role in recruiting soldiers, your Briefing and Assessment Event will be in your local region.

For the positions recruiting officers, your Briefing and Assessment Event will be held at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. This is where all Army officers train and the Briefing Event will give you invaluable insight into officer careers.

Please speak to one of our recruiters if you have any questions around travel to events and interviews.

Will I spend time at the Army barracks?

Primarily, your role will be working in our recruitment offices or remotely as you travel to meet candidates, attend/host events or work with your peers at other offices. You may also sometimes visit an Army barracks but it all depends on the role you apply for.

Will you sponsor visas?

You must be eligible to work in the UK to apply for one of our roles.

I have a criminal record, can I still apply?

Yes. At Capita we have a robust vetting and screening process that appropriately manages risks but that also treats all workers entering our businesses fairly and consistently. Applicants should note that failure to pass vetting checks may result in an offer of employment being withdrawn.

Will I be recruiting frontline soldiers?

You will be recruiting into over 200 of the Army's roles – some of these are Infantry, some work in warehouses managing kit, some are GPs on site looking after the Army soldiers and their families. There is so much variety which is a big reason why recruiting them can be so interesting and rewarding.

I do not have any military experience or knowledge of the Army, is that important?

Not at all. We will provide you with a comprehensive training programme that will equip you with the knowledge and expertise that you need to recruit for the Army.
